Permanent Jewelry Waiver & Release of Liability

By purchasing or receiving permanent jewelry services from Starbond Links, you acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms:

PERMANENT JEWELRY ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Permanent jewelry is custom-fit and welded closed without a clasp. Once welded, the jewelry becomes non-removable unless cut or broken. All pieces are created specifically for the client at the time of service.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that the permanent jewelry process involves tools, heat, and welding equipment. While Starbond Links takes all reasonable safety precautions, risks may include but are not limited to:


  • Minor burns or skin irritation
  • Allergic reactions or metal sensitivities
  • Jewelry breakage due to normal wear, snagging, pulling, or impact

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with this service.

METAL SENSITIVITY & MEDICAL DISCLOSURE

I confirm that I have disclosed any known allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or pregnancy that may affect my participation. Starbond Links is not responsible for reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions.

DELICATE CHAINS DISCLOSURE

I understand that certain permanent jewelry chains offered by Starbond Links are delicate, thin, or fine in design. These chains require extra care and are more susceptible to breakage due to everyday activities including, but not limited to:


  • Pulling or snagging
  • Pressure, tension, or impact
  • Physical activity, exercise, or sleep

I acknowledge that choosing a delicate chain is a personal preference and accept the increased risk of breakage associated with finer styles.

SOLID GOLD & FINE CHAIN DISCLAIMER

I understand that solid gold, gold-filled, and fine chains are delicate by nature and are not guaranteed against breakage, regardless of price or metal type. Starbond Links is not responsible for damage caused by normal wear, snagging, impact, or improper care.

ALL SALES FINAL / NO GUARANTEES

All permanent jewelry sales are FINAL once welded.

No refunds, exchanges, or replacements are offered.

Repairs or re-welding are not guaranteed and may require an additional fee.

CARE & RESPONSIBILITY

I accept full responsibility for the care and maintenance of my jewelry once it leaves Starbond Links’ possession. Starbond Links is not responsible for loss, damage, or breakage after the service is completed.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Starbond Links, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, injuries, damages, or liabilities arising from or related to the permanent jewelry service.

PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT (OPTIONAL)

I grant Starbond Links permission to use photos or videos taken during my appointment for promotional and marketing purposes unless otherwise stated.

MINORS

Clients under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present. The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility and consent.

AGREEMENT

By completing my purchase and/or checking the agreement box at checkout, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to this waiver in full.
